About Worship Foundations
We are a community of Christ followers committed to walking alongside musicians and worship leaders in their quest to understand, be prepared for, and be effective in their life-callings. Musicians, both performers and songwriters, are called to have a central place in helping people connect with God...to see truth, see what’s happening in the world, and respond by inspiration from God’s heart.
Our organization is based upon a desire to build and celebrate the foundational realities (Ezra 3) out of which we live…hence the name worship foundations. The norm today is service based upon method rather than service that is an overflow of who we are as humans, children of God, and friends of Jesus. So, the focus of our energy is to support the spiritual formation of musicians and worship ministers – to be a resource for growth.

This weekend was absolutely incredible. There really aren’t even words to explain all that’s in my heart from the last 4 days…some moments were too precious to try to wrap words around at all. We took a break from our responsibilities in the town we’ve been in and headed back to the capital city. We led worship at a conference called Connexion on Fri and Sat, and then went to the KL Passion World Tour event on Sun. At the conference, we played with 2 other guys from Nashville who we’d never worked with before. It was miraculous how well things went considering we’d had no experience leading together! Hello to the other side of the world! Ni how ma? (For those of you are wondering what that means it is how are you in Chinese). I am absolutely amazing! God is my joy, my peace, my comfort, and he is my rest.
This weekend was a pretty miraculous weekend. We left the school on Thursday by bus to head to KL for the weekend. They were having and conference on Friday and Saturday and the Passion KL on Sunday night. It was so great to get to worship God through music this weekend. I really miss getting to do that as often. a soaked spunge in SE Asia

I've been in SE Asia 10 days now and am just today getting to my first blog post. Initially I wasn't able to even check my .mac email or update my homepage because the browsers on the computers here don't support .mac, then in the last couple of days that I've had internet access on my own computer I still haven't been able to form much in the way of articulate thoughts or reflections. I told my team last night that I feel like at first I was a dry sponge absorbing everything here, but now I feel like a soaked sponge under running water.
